Where the wild things are!!

When Logan, Emily and I went to see Monsters vs Aliens (great movie) a couple of weeks ago it was to my great surprise to see this trailer.  We saw it again last night when we went to see Earth. (another good show)

I have never been so excited to see a movie in my entire life!! It sounds incredibly stupid but every time I see the trailer, I get a little tiery eyed. I have a ton of memories wrapped around this book and every time Logan and I read it (it is our favorite book to read before bed) I can't help but think of 2 very important people to me, my Mom and Kirsten. We won't go into the mushy details behind why this book reminds me of my Mom and Kirsten, just want you to know that I love you Kirsten.  Cant wait for October 16th.

Mexican Riviera April 2009

MEXICAN RIVIERA:
Emily and I went on a 7 day cruise down the Mexican Riviera the 2nd week of April.  The weather was perfect (85 degrees and Sunny all week). The weather was even better because we heard that the UC (Utah County for those of you who don't know the acronyms) got 10 inches of snow while we were getting perfect suntans.  Hope you enjoy the pictures, BTW Jesse and Kirsten the guy in the speedo is just for you. HaHa. These 2 guys were the first people we saw when we went to the pool, we called them the speedo twins the rest of the trip.

PUERTA VALLARTA:
Puerta Vallarta was our first stop, and was it nice to get off the boat after 2 1/2 days.  We Walked along the ocean front and looked at these incredible sand sculptures, there were bunch of them, the ones I posted pictures of were Moses and the Last Supper. We chilled on the beach for a while and then we ate lunch at this little restaurant called Si Senor. It was the best Mexican food that we have ever had.  Emily had carnitas and I had a mexican steak, they had the freshest and best guacamole ever. We finished up lunch with cocunut ice cream, it was delicious.  If you are ever in Puerta Vallarta you must go there!  We also visited the local catholic church, I love to go look at the old churches and the different types of architecture.

MAZATLAN:
You will notice that there are not many pictures of Mazatlan due to the fact that this was our least favorite stop.  The city was dirty and the people not very friendly.  We went to a beach that was dirty and full of other tourists, which also meant there were a ton of the vendors trying to sell you crap you don't want.

CABO SAN LUCAS:
Cabo San Lucas was our last stop. We got off the boat and got a water taxi which is a rickety old boat to take us out to lovers beach. This was the best beach( there were no vendors trying to sell you a bunch of crap.), and the driver of the water taxi took us out to see the arch, sea lions, sting ray, lots of different fish, and the window to the pacific before dropping us off at the beach. On the morning when we were coming into Cabo we woke up to see the sunrise
